Newbie here. Someone told me once that it's a bad idea to play a bass through a guitar amp, that it can mess up the amp :eek:. Is that true? I have a Crate vtg club60, has a high and low input. Thanks, ADrian :)

Or is it possible to plug the amp into the recorder somehow (I know you can plug the guitar in - not asking about that at present) to still get the sound of the amp? I have a 60W amp with a high and low input. Thanks, Adrian

Ok. So to get this straight: 1) Using the adaptor I now have, 300 mA for the unit rated at 600 mA could really mess up the unit at some point by "sending AC to the unit". But I thought it was AC already? 2) If I got something that was, eg. 800 mA, it wouldn't do the unit any harm? If this is...

Just read the following in my owner's manual: "use only the provided PS-P414 AC adaptor. Using any other adaptor will cause damage to the 414 MKII...":eek: I don't have this, have another kind of 12V adaptor. Will it really cause damage, or is this just Tascam trying to scare you into buying...

Hi, Can anyone tell me if 90, or 100, minute high bias tapes are ok to use on the 414mkII? The owner's manual isn't clear on this - it just says not to use 120 minute tapes.
