Yeah this was just a soundcheck. All the rest of the drum tracks have very little cymbal bleed, so I guess I'm going to try moving that snare mic around. How was the overall EQ?

Anyone know whos got good prices on Regal Tip sticks by the box? I used to get them cheap at a place locally that has since disappeared. :mad:

You'll have to find out which line it is... but even the cheapest Pearl stuff is "decent" as far as I'm concerned. For $800, it should be pretty good. Price shop a little though to make sure its a good price, check www.musiciansfriend.com, ebay, etc.

Just try re-seating the ram and the processor.

Actually... its probably really mostly the BBE Sonic Maximizer you're hearing. Thats why it sounds so thick, and yet has a lot of tone.
