I really don't know. I was just trying to help.
And for the record, after shipping cost and everything else you would probally be better off getting a harkte cab. It'd won't be much more, and it'd sound a lot better. I was just assuming you wanted some cheap and punk.
I'd be interested in just the oktava's. My cousin and are a supposed to be working out a deal on a pre-amp. Would you consider selling just the oktava by themselves, and if so how much?
Yours was pretty good. I liked it a lot. Check out mine, if I could convince (insert pop punk singer's name here) to sing on this, it could get on the radio......
:D ok maybee not...
LMFAO!!!!!
I'm putting the song I made as a "hidden track" on my band's upcoming ep. I'm going to put my "cookie monster death metal" vocals over it. It's going to be just plain stupid.
If I knew anything, and I mean anything about making something with flash I would built the "gore metal o...
I know it isn't a head, but it's going to be a lot cheaper than a head would be. (And probally easier to move around). I played punk rock for years, and this would be the ultimate punk rock set up.
(2) x 10" cab with horn - $89

If you want to get something line 6, check this out is only 30 bucks more than the first one I posted. For 130 bucks, it seems like a pretty good deal.

jkokura - would you recomend the fast track over an Omega Lexicon? I'm looking at buying the...
A lot of the huge guitar sound is a ton of layers. When my band recorded at a "real" studio there was something like 12 guitar tracks or so for each guitar part. It was insane, but it ended up sounding so thick that you couldn't cut it with a knife.
Sorry I can't help more.
I just re-read your post, and that won't record a microphone. . . . . . . . . Crap, I'm not sure what to tell you now.
Regardless I still think it'd be fun to play around with. I've considered buying one myself. You can't buy a new pod for 100 bucks, and even if you could you can't record on a...
Um.... I'm a newbie too. But I've heard a lot of people talk about that new line 6 thing. I believe it's called a "tone port" or something like that. It's not too expensive and I think it's in your price range...
Ok I did a little search for you and you can buy one (or just read up on it) here...
I hate them! Like my other post said it was just all wrong for my style of music.
I've had everything from emgs, 59's, bill lawerence, jb, super distortion etc. etc. etc. and the "custom custom" is honest to god the worst pickup I've ever owned.
I think I could fart on a snare drum and make it...
lyricist you totally kick ass man!!!! :D :D :D
I've been playing with that punk - o - matic thing for like 2 hours. It's rocks man! That's the most fun I've had all day long (ok, I'm a loser, so what?) Thanks for posting that man. I'm sending a little postive rep your way to get you started...
I've been recording with just 3 mics here lately, and I've gotten some really good results........ I'm also looking to upgrade so we're in exactly the same boat. I own a sm57 and some crappy mics. I'm planning on the beta52 as well. Anyways in all of my "asking around" I just keep hearing about...
A lot of E.H. pedals need their switches replaced. (Especially if you buy one used). And that's what causes them to act up...... They fixed that problem a few years back, so if you bought a new e.h. pedal I believe you'd be safe.
If you do decide to look into vintage e.h. pedals, keep swapping...
I'm not really sure about the touch up work...... But, try to keep the bass away from heating vents and things like that. (No sudden changes in temp). And if you have a case or gig bag, when you're not playing it, keep it in there.
I really don't know much about humidifiers and stuff like...
I had more time to experiment with this technique and I've got to tell you. Hands down it's the best sound I've EVER gotten out of recording my drums.
I have a crap-o-rific CAD drum mic package. And I'm using the 2 overhead pencil condensors and the kick mic and even with thoose crappy mics it...
Paintbrush us up a diagram...... I've been dying to do some elc. work today. I don't really have anything that needs fixing though.
If you don't know Ohm's law you should check it out, it's simple as hell and it's really useful.
IMO the "custom custom" really really sucks. (get it?) :D
But seriously though, I had a custom custom in my SG and I couldn't of hated it more. It was like the pickup took off from the "midrange" planet and landing on my sg. I hated it!
I'd be really scared of running a kick mic into a nice guitar amp..... I don't know if it would mess it up or not, but I wouldn't risk ruining a nice amp.
With that in mind, I'd crank it up loud with something like a rogue halfstack. Because nothing you could do to that amp could possibly make...
