I will tune your vocals and tighten your drum tracks for cheap! A fresh set of ears will really help you, don't let your song suffer from tunnel vision!
Quality work! Not just a pass through autotune... I get down to the nitty gritty with every note.
$10/song for either vocal tuning or drum...
Thanks for all the replies! You guys have been very helpful.
It seems some questions popped up in the thread, here are some answers:
-I'm looking for a 2-channel unit. Specifically, the best bang for my buck at $300
-My main uses for the unit will be recording guitar amps (sm57) and vocals...
Hey guys, I'm looking for a quality preamp that can provide a hefty amount of clean gain. Specifically, to be used with my SM57 and, more importantly, my SM7b. I don't really know where to start, so please recommend something and I'll look into it! My budget is $300ish
PS: I will be upgrading...
I'm looking for one of the following:
-AKG D112
-Shure Beta 52
-Audix d6
PM me and make me an offer of what you think is fair.
Please include the condition of the mic. It doesn't have to look new but it has to work properly!
PS: I live in St. Charles, MO. (pretty close to St. Louis)

I try to visit one of their band practices before letting them hit the studio. From there I can advise what needs to improve. I'm involved with home recording to make great music, not just money. Its no fun when the music is doomed from the start!
I like a decent amount of Snare in my overheads.
I try to approach drum recording as getting the whole kit in the overheads and using close mics to enhance, not to be the main sound. Just do whatever you can to make all the drum tracks sound great together
Keep the money you have and save up for a pair of good ones.
I know that sucks to hear now, but it will not be long before you regret buying crappy monitors.
I agree. I recently made the switch from Protools LE to Sonar 7 because I was sick of interface limitations. For awhile I recorded drums in cubase with my firepod (8 inputs) and transfered them to protools because the mbox only has 2 mic inputs. In the end it worked out, but it was a mess...
I recently switched from ProTools LE to Sonar 7, and so far I love it.
However I'm having a few problems getting used to the program.
My current issue:
I copied a piece of audio from a track and tried to paste it earlier in the song (on the same track) The pasted version comes with a diagonal...
I have been setting up a drumset I plan to record a few tunes on. Everything sounds great, but the cymbals ring on forever (especially the ride). Is there any TEMPORARY remedy to this problem that won't damage the cymbal?
If not, what can I do to my Overhead tracks to hide the ring?
The...
I agree with the other posters that the problem is your singer.
Don't get me wrong, he might be an awesome singer for the music.. but you NEED to let him know that there is a problem with the microphone technique.
I understand you probably brought this up since you are in a position where...

I bought this floor pedal unit about two years ago but no longer have a use for it. It has roughly 15 hours of play on it and is in perfect condition. Works great for both recording directly and...
create a (mono) Aux Input track. Pull up your mixer and put on the Click plugin on that track. (It should be Instruments --> Click on the dropdown menu)
It gives you a few ticking sounds to choose from
