yes, that's close to what I was thinking, only my Idea was even smaller (1mx1m) and since I have a hard time getting rigid fiberglass, I was thinking roxul instead. (mt parents do quite a bit of renavating so there's lots lying around) I wans't shure If I should leave the floor bare, I was...
I supose this question has been asked a hundred times b4...
but is there any mic that catches the sound, pretty much eggsactly the way it's produced, that upon playback, it sounds like your listening to the instoment before bieng recorded.
is there such a thing?
sorry if this question sounds...
thxs for the reply's, :)
yeah, the box inside a box is what I had in mind, (similar to the link that Guitarer gave me, only the box can hold any cab you wish to put in it.)
perhaps I'll build my own design and post it up..
cheers :)
and again, thxs for the reply's.
a while back I saw someone build insolated boxes to put thier cabs in to mic, saving the effort of acustifying the whole room. anyone have a link to how to make them, or a link to a page about them? (if you know what I'm talking about..)
thxs :)
cheers

ok, not shure if "microphones" is the best section for this question.. none the less.
does anyone know a way to make an adapter to take one boom mic. stand and make it capable to hold 2 mics in XY fasion, (2 condenser "pencil" mics to be exact) without the use of alot of duct tape... thxs :)...
ok, I'll say this first, it's not my style of music, but regardless,
the beats sound good, and the background vox sound good, but the lead vox sound a bit too buirrired, and also sounds like you clipped the high end off, I would put it back on (if you did remove it) just so that it'll stand out...
ok, I posted it up on soundclick www.soundclick.com/mirthmaker
(without you (cleenest) )
drossfile: I was also thinking about the drums, and yes you are right, I realy should bring down the drums, there's not much I can do about the snare, (it's a fairly beaten CB drum with an completly eaten...
wow, verry chrisp, I agree with the vocals, it needs some level adjustment
the intro fade is a good Idea, but I feel it takes away from the sound, so I would have it go right into the full volume. the sound of evrything is good, I think it's just levels that need adjusting, right now it almost...
age's ago I posted this song, this is a re-recorded verion of it, I would love any input on it, thxs (yes it's a myspace page, maby if you ask nicely I might put it up on a diffrent server..)

I agree with andyhix though, it goes both way's, yes the answering person should try to give a nice helpful anser, but the one recieving the answer should also take it seriosly and not be whiny about it, just becouse it wasn't what they expected.
Cheers.

steve.h: again, good points. but I'm an optimest, I alway's seem to find 2 many bands that wanna play.. hmm 240 bands, a fair number, but guelph is litterly crawling with no-name bands that will just seep into any opertunity they can get thier hands on.
but I WILL have a serios talk with the...
steve.h: your absolutly right that he has no clue ... but I'm a bit mad mysylf.. and want to help him :D (plus, that means, another show my band can play at. and if my band gets it's name in the record book... I wouldn't mind :D:D )
and you have some good points. but I would like to comment on...
sorry, I don't know where to put this thread. but I think this section is the most suited... anyway.
a friend of mine is having a wild Idea of setting a wold record for longest concert (15 day's non stop) but, as far as i remeber, he's never set up a gig b4, yet alone a big ass one like this...
I know this thread is pretty dead, but I just got back from my local music store and I played the brand new Valbee from Ibanez, I was blown away, :p I played it right after playing a bassman, and I almost thought I was still playing the same amp (ok, it's not AS good, but pretty damn close)...
boingoman: yup, I've already quite a bit of reading, and intend to do some more hehe this should b fun
TravisinFlorida: that puts a new meaning to humbucker :p but I'm keeping it simple with a single coil :D
pretty mutch is a nice little science prodject.
and I thought they used wax. but my bad if it's varnish, anyway's I know pickup wire is coated, just like anyother coil wire (for radios or whatnot)
wait.. what? isn't pickup wire just wax coverd copper wire? what does it use then?
TravisinFlorida: they do sell magnets, I'm making my own bobbins/covers ext. from raw matirials from canadian tire
