leedon, since you have decided to paint it I will give you this advice. You should really listen to everyone when they tell you about not painting it on a humid day, one of my friends did this once and it turned out really bad. Thats about the only info I feel qualified to give you on the matter.

Actually I think Behringer is secretly owned by Radio Shack. Anyways I think Gidge's suggestion in your other post is a great one, an sm57 is great for guitar amps and good for vocals and if you can swing for a condensor as well then that would be even better.

If the adress to Homer is refering to me, then I would like to say that I think YOU need to get out more. I have never encountered anyone who does not agree that the materials and construction of an electric guitar affect the tone. It is a well accepted fact with proof and examples to back it up.
