sounds awesome dude. that bass does sound real good. i feel the snare is somewhat too loud, or just sounds a little off. i like your voice, nice and gritty :)

i like it. i really like how your guitars sound, nice and tight.
i personally think there might be a tad too much reverb on the vox, but that's just me.
what's your recording setup? soundcard, preamp, mics, software, etch..
so how big was the contrast? when you went from audigy to aardvark? was it like, "yeah, it does sound better..." or "DAMN, that sounds a lot better!!!"?
i would be stepping up from onboard sound card using the "mic in" with a radioshack mic, to a audiophile 2496 with an Audiobuddy, using MXL...
they all sound the same. 4/4 time. 4 chord progression. maybe a two chord prechorus. rinse. repeat.
i've exhausted my knowledge of progressions and how to create new ones. agh. i need some more voicings i think.

it's really not that hard. search on google for "how to build a computer". there's one site that's really good, search around, learn the lingo, and you'll be much better off than one of those mass produced idiot boxes.
