Don't think thats an issue. I cleaned the heads thoroughly before shipping it off. Also He claims, the recording test, was early on in his receiving the unit. He also claims, to have tried several Tapes. Man... If I only would have tested it prior! Thanks, Reel Person.

Yea miroslav. I know the ones and recognize them as belonging to the MS-16. Its the other ends I'm hoping people who actually have the receiving (or sending whatever the case may be) units might enlighten me to. So by you telling me that the connector in Pic. one is a Timeline Microlynx Sync...
