I too have a different problem with the metronome, I can't get it to speed up or manipulate it like a drum machine. Probably something I'm doing wrong. I just need a click track for drum timing
I too experience lag with the addition of a new track sometimes. I wasn't sure it it was due to my 5400rpm hard drive or my amd k6-2 500mhz processor. My maximum amount of tracks so far is 9 and my computer prcatically started smoking with that many.
OK, I've recorded a song and mixed it on N-Track. Now what? How do I make the final cut sound mastered like a professional recording? Are there any buttons or processes I need to know about?

Do yourself a favour and buy N-Track for your PC and forget about the bulky multi-track recorder. Go to www.fasoft.com to download it. As many tracks as your computer can handle, loads of effects and great editing, what more could you ask for at the price of $49?

I use a Shure SM58 for all my recording duties, yet it sounds crap. It always distorts vocals and miked guitar amps. Is it a bad mic or am I doing sommat wrong?
