looked it up says upto 60 dregrees but does not say a normal temp ,just curious what other peoples run at ?
and if its worth trying some passive cooling.
how hot do your hard drives get ?
i've just moved my pc into a cuboard with no case , sloted some accustic foam and stood the hard drives in it untill they would not fall over , now i have no fans in this cuboard and the harddrives are ticking over at 40 degrees at idle ,i have not had a...
i am thinking of building a drum room how much room does a kit take up and how could i sound proof it ,i am thinking of a room within a room .
would this be enough or is it impossible to isolate a drum kit (so the neigbours dont complain).
i live in a terraced house (houses join on both sides)...
i am thinking of putting a drum room in my home studio how big should it be ?
and how would i go about soundproofing it or is that impossible ?
ok more questions
a td12 brain vs bfd which is better ?
i currently have a td3 brain and am wondering which way to go by the time i've bought a drum...
ok here comes some help
if the drum machine is anything like my old boss dr550 then you had to edit patterns call them something like pattern 1,2,3,4....etc
then you had to edit a song play list like 3 bars of pattern 1 2 bars of pattern 3 etc... you will have to forgive the basic description i...
ok now the guitar cale is sorted the next problem i have is i would like a monitor down stairs in the celler running from the pc upstairs (15 meters away)so if i am recording on my own doing drums or vocals i can stop and start the recording.
keyboard and mouse have been sorted with a blue tooth...
yes i am in the uk ,that would be great if you could do that for me.
i understand now the reason why :) , my thoughts were you have bell wire supplied with every stereo you get so there can not be that much current going down the wire ,but obvously marshall amps are a whole different kettle of...
am i right in thinking that i should be able to connect this speaker wire to the jack input on the snake that runs to the celler and out of that to a cab ?
thanks
there is a second hand MARSHALL JCM 800 LEAD SPEAKER CAB 1960B 4X12
going for about £80 is this a good price and is it a good cab or would i be better off looking at something else ?
thanks
never thought of using a speaker cable .
if i used a cab as the extra speaker would it matter if the cab was 16 ohms and my 8080 marshall combo is only 8 ohms ?
am i right in thinking that i can just take the spade conectors off my combo's amps speaker and wire them to a wire with a jack on the...
i am looking at converting my celler into a recording room, but my tracking room is two floors above this,i can run a snake down there for the mic's but i do a fair bit of recording by myself.
is it possible to play my guitar in the tracking room but have the sound coming out of the amp in the...
it's just that i'm pre amping from 45 db to 60 db to get a good signal.
when using the amp i'm not having it loud to save the neighbours ears.
is this too much gain ? and should i cranck up the amp and f**k the neighbours make them listen to my shitty guitar playing.
i know this is proberley a dumb question.
But how much gain do you usually use when you use a mic ? when say you use a acustic guitar and a electric guitar ?
thanks
number 1 in the stupid questions :D
and they said i wouldn't amount to anything !!!!!
on your soundcard there should be a jack socket usually green connect that to a mixer channel then send that channel to the master fader and you should now be able to hear what the computer is playing with the headphones.
need more info on your gear to say if its any different.
need more info what daw are you using and what soundcard does the pc have speakers if not get a lead to connect from the sound card to the mixer .
at the moment you will not hear anything in the headphones because the computers sound out is not connected to the mixer.
is there a monitor button...
you could check the q mix consol in the motu software making sure nothing has been switched on that could cause a signal loop
do you have the working project ? if so see which channel it happened on and trouble shoot that channel swopping gear and leads till you find the fault.
good luck...
