Could be, when listening with my monitors and other means, the kick drum is almost not there. On headphones it is present. About the EQ, I also added a couple of db in the 3500 region, to get a better click

The kick drum was recorded with one mic inside. It's not being masked by the bass (I actually set up a sidechain compressor to it). Added around 3db to the 69 Hz región, and lowered it or high passed the other instruments. guitars are panned 75% L R, and HP to 133 Hz

My band recordé a live rehearsal (with guitars overdubbed) but i'm having a tough time making the kick drum to stand out. Increasing the volume makes it take over the mix, and no matter how much I eq it, I end up with unsatisfying results. Any thoughts?

The only thing getting lower in volumen in mono are the rythm guitars, which are panned hard left and right. Flipped the phase and they seem fine. Is this something that just "happens"? should I just find the balance (cause I´m never satisfied with how it comes out)?

I'm mixing with monitors, they are at an appropiate distance. The thing is, I check my mixes through other speakers (Phone, smart TV, etc.) and the results are the same: loud solo on mono, normal on stereo, or normal on mono, but low on stereo

Thanks for the tips guys, the drums are made with superior drummer 2, it's true that they are left way in the back.. The solo has delay, but I didn't want to muddy up the guitar, so I added an aggressive sidechain compresor to it. Perhaps that is why it's not that present

I actually had them quieter, but the the drums ate up all the mix...
