I am thinking of getting a MOTU 828mkII or a RME Multiface with the PCI card. Anyone have any preferences? I am using a PC.

So I am looking to get some decent drum mics. Just a simple set-up. Kick, snare, and two overheads? I will be using some DMP-3 preamps. Anyone know of some good mic kits.. or just individual mics? My budget is about $400...

ok.. i am almost to a decision.. i promise.. :) do you think the bus powered feature is an improvement? and how big of a difference is the 192kHz going to be? i want this to be an investment of sorts. do you think having 192kHz will be handy in the future.. meaning I won't need to upgrade?

aren't RME products usually more expensive? the reason the mAudio appeals to me is because it is cheaper..

does version 3.3 also work in 24-bit mode? i am currently running 4.0.3.. but it doesn't seem nearly as stable.
