Call me crazy but won't sound bleed through the gap above those soffits and cause a bunch of rumble and mud in the 2x6 section of the room you left alone. did you put any deadening material in there or do you plan to seal off the gaps?
Rick,
Yes, the DDX as well as all the other gear is in perfect working order. If I decide to split it up, you'll have dibs on the DDX. I'll let you know. Thanks for your interest.
I forgot I have a couple sets of AKG K270 Headphones too and I'll take $150 for both or if you buy the Package the whole price is now $2,500 Plus Shipping.
I'd prefer one buyer take all but, I may break it up if I get serious attention on most items. Prices do NOT include shipping and I only accept U.S. Money Orders or Certified Checks. Continental US only. I hope you like what you see. Prices are roughly retail minus 25% cause items are mildly...
Corn people! :D That's funny. I guess we are since the great tobacco buy out.
-AND-
You can get the bigger potatoes, but they come in 3-packs and they are the same price as the bag of 15 smalller ones. Idaho's running a racket!
ToneE,
www.gearslutz.com is a great resource for highend reviews. Many professional engineers, producers, etc. and even gear manufacturers post there frequently.
The two things that hit me were your A/D/A conversion and possibly summing. I assume you use the o2r96 to sum? Or do you sum ITB...
Actually WV is like the meth-lab capitol of the world. And I say that to merely take your attention away from the ridiculous number of meth-labs in my own state. :D
You know, I don't want to hijack the thread but, As for Idaho, have you noticed that 5lb bags of Idaho potatos are anymore filled...
If it is the amp, I don't think they make anything for that. If it's anything before the amp, Boss makes a noise suppressor. I've never used it but if I needed one, I'd get that one simply because I'm a boss man. Plus it's only like $89 I think. I don't know. Check www.sweetwater.com
What kind of guitar are you using. I have a Fender Blues Jr. and one time I heard humming and I made the amp really loud then switched between pickups on the guitar (Ibanez RG) and the hum changed pitch and intensity with each pickup so, could it be your guitar? or maybe you've set the amp too...
My comment was to discredit my guitar's setup ie: action, intonation, etc. The TU-2 can be and is dead-on accurate (when your guitar is in proper condition). I just (in my current situation) don't use it that way exactly.
I'm sure you know this but, that's not exactly the same thing as a 500 series module. That only allows your RNP/RNC/RNLA to be mounted sideways. It won't rack up to a 500 series rack.
Still cool though. I have seen it before.
Put a hole in the wall close to the floor then drill up from the basement into the studwall cavity. Measure twice, drill once!!!! Run your wiring through it and into the bedroom. I'm sure your parents just don't want a tacky hole in the floor that is seen. You could even make a wooden face...
I don't know what your traps are made of but it's been advised here in the past to wrap the 703 with thin plastic to reflect some highs while still absorbing lows. Are your traps built this way? Just a thought.
I must admit my interest is more for the RNC than the RNP. Currently there are plenty of high end pres in that format, but not many comps and eqs. It'd be a way for FMR to offer an affordable alternative to the API 525. I would buy in to the 500 format if there were more options in the Comp...
I was thinking today that it would be cool if FMR would get on the band wagon with all the other companies making lunchbox style pres, comps, and eqs. Judging from it's current half rack size, it shouldn't be too hard to negotiate the form factor especially since the RNP is 2 pres housed in...
I have an HD24 to sell, but in order to make the money I need to make, it's part of a package. Want to see...

No pics available but, all is in perfect working order and barely used over the last 3 years. I'd rather not ship it...
Yamaha's have titanium drivers too. I've used a ton of yorkville over the years and I can say undoubtedly that if this guy goes with them, he'll be in the same boat again real soon. Yorkville is horrible compared to yamaha. JBL and EAW can compete with Yamaha but, bang for buck is all about...
