    Here's a new one

Thanks for making the second effort to listen. Yeah, It's me on everything, but the drums were programmed using DrumkitFromHell and the DR008 sampler. I love that setup, as it gives me flexibility I never had before regarding my drums. A real Drumkit would not be feasible here. I'm glad you...

It works here. Just right click and do a "save as". Anyone else having problems?

    Waiting for the perfect time

I like this. Guitars and Vocal sound real good. I like your voice a lot, it's perfect for this type of music. You might be better off using a more traditional acoustic kick sample, and maybe mixing in a tiny bit of a 909kik in behind it to keep that deep thing you've got going in there. Then see...

    Here's a new one

I'm getting close on it I hope. I've been working on this one whenever I get a spare fifteen minutes of peace around here, so it's been a while in the making. Anyway, let me know what you think. There are a couple of things that really bother me about it, but I'm curious to see what others...

    16bit vs 24bit 44khz vs 96khz

My point is that he DOESN'T as of now have the hardware to record at higher resolution. I'm saying that the difference between a solid performance of a good song vs. a poor performance of a bad song will be far more apparent to 99% of listeners than whether it was recorded at 16/44.1 or 24/96.

    16bit vs 24bit 44khz vs 96khz

Indeed. Anybody listening (buying) would much rather hear a less than stellar recording of an amazing tune than an astounding representation of a dogshit song. Concentrate hardest on the song and the performance. That's been a problem for me which I'm trying to correct. I've been spending so...

Bass - how low should you go?

Just be careful, as it's WAY easy to overdo it with "tools" like that, especially when you can't accurately hear what's going on down there anyway. I'm sure you're aware of that, but I learned it the hard way.

Sonar - can I put my sound module into the right mode?

Indeed. What part of Iowa you from? I'm an Iowan myself.

Sonar - can I put my sound module into the right mode?

If you can figure out the SysEx commands that need to be sent to your module, Sonar can send them when you open up the project. It's all in the manual.

    cd level sound

Of course, I don't think you really want to get "as loud as any other songs out there".

Could use a bit of help

I've been messing with this one, and I think I've been going in circles at this point. I'll probably start over with the mix, but Hopefully I can get some input from a few of you beforehand. *edit* sorry, song is down for now..

Rock-Rap mix...angry, powerfull and deep ..."Angel"

Cool vibe. No offense, but European rappers just sound weird to me. Chorus sounds very Fred Durst. Over all a pretty cool, moody tune. Mixwise nothing really sounds glaringly bad to me, at least not outside the realm of personal preference. Nice work.

    extreme metal song

Been a while since I've listened to this kind of thing. I have to say I did enjoy it in a strange kind of way. Mix suggestions have been made, and I let them stand. Musically, if this is what floats your boat, I say tear it up, dude. But man, what a tiring live show, eh?

Stupid question - deleting unused takes

The safest way is to use CWAF tool. It'll show all files used and unused by any project.

Ah, that makes sense. Somehow I thought you might "weigh" in on this one. Thanks.

    Analyzers

What is meant by A-weighted, and C-weighted in regards to a frequency analyzer's display?
