I am in search of a soundcard with breakout box. I need at least 4 analog ins/outs and digital outs. Has anyone had any experience with the Core2 card? Any other card recommendations? Thanks in advance!

I have not used Cubase VST in a few months--since I got a Tascam TSR-8-- and am having dropouts in the songs I recorded. There is a half second of silence every four bars or so. Anyone out there have any solutions? Thank you very much.
