You would think. Ah well. At least I smartened up. I know of a church that has spent over $15,000 on Behringer equipment, all of which has crapped out, and they are still buying gear from them.
I joined the forum a few days ago. I'm sure you've seen my posts around. I have a reasonable knowledge of recording and mixing. Know next to nothing about mastering (the graph things look pretty though :D ) though. I'm here to learn, and to help where I can.
I like romantic walks on the beach...
Welcome aboard. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Everyone's friendly here. Well, Greg's friendliness is debatable.
EDIT: Looks like you have a pretty good setup. And Reaper is an excellent program.
I have spent close to $2800 on behringer gear. The only thing that didn't crap out on me for no reason what so ever was a couple of PA speakers I bought from them.
For sure. But they always seem to work fine. I was lucky enough to find a set of 4 SM57s (I thought they were fakes when I got them, because of the price, but it turns out they are genuine) at a garage sale for $20 for the set. Two were sorta beaten up but the other two were in mint condition...
Tell me about it. I have since disallowed anyone other than me to touch it.
EDIT: Sadly enough I've never had anyone knock over any of my other microphones, yet this one has been knocked over three times. Yes. Three.
Idk, my mother's basement IS pretty awesome! It's where the party is at.
What? You found a girl with only ONE extra layer of body fat in Vermont?
