    Here we go again....

Hi there, I am a newbie, so no expert critic here, but the vocals seem too wide. I think they should be more central. Cool mix though otherwise! Jonathan

Cheap / Free drum programming software for metal?

Get a Zoom G3 - they are not that expensive, you can use it live if you want, has great tones, and is a USB interface. Have seen alot of reviews that say it is not far behind the POD HD300/500. I find though that the gain is not very linear. You need to adjust it between 0-30% and they after...

How can I make this sound better? (Attachment included)

Hi there, Pretty good recording - nice stereo sound! The timing seems out in places. You can edit this in a DAW and correct it - makes a difference. Rock on! Jonathan

    Recording Drums in Practice Room

Hi there, I am a newbie to DAW and have reaper plus a Tascam US-1800 which allows up to 14 tracks to be recorded at once. I want to record some drum tracks in our practice room. I have a full set of drum mics can record all in separate tracks through the Tascam. Obviously it is not a studio...

    New Progressive Metal/Rock Track

Killer recording. Not much I would change. Only the cymbals sound a little thin. Did you use criss cross overheads?

'Warm' metal/rock record, would love criticality

Really good mix and stereo sound! What are you using for DAW? How did you get this sound? The only critic I have is the snare sound. Could be EQed and made more punchier. Listen to RATM's snare on Killing in the Name. A simple but killer sound! Other than that, I think you are well on the...

    Bleed the Grey (Demo)

Hi, Catchy tune - rocks! I am new to home recording but I think your guitars could pop out more by EQing. Also I think the snare could be also EQed and remixed to make it punchier. I find the snare adds alot of punch to songs like this but be careful adding too much. This youtube video was...

"Waves (Demo)" - Any feedback is great. Thanks.

Hi, I am new to home recording, but it is a nice track! You voice is good but out of tune sometimes. I would recommend you "tune" your voice with a plugin. I find GTune is quite good. Good foundation for a first take! Jonathan
