I think the first thing people will ask you is to tell us more about your computer (RAM, HD, Processor)... I am running a Pentium M 1.2 Ghz with 512 RAM and a 40gb HD ( I store stuff on an external though because my laptop hard drive has crashed before) and I have a Mobile-Pre into Cubase SE...

I've used both Cubase SE and Cakewalk Home Studio and much prefer Cubase (cheaper too)

Does anyone know when SE3 (or i guess SX3 or SL3 too) came out? I use SE that I bought right after christmas at GC, and I was looking at the Steinberg site and saw SE3 was out. I guess it isn't really a big deal, but I figure I could go ask for the newer version if it was out when I bought SE...
