I don't think I totally agree with this post. When I buy acoustics, or help people buy an acoustic, I play tons of guitars and only buy one that won't really need adjustments intonation and action wise. If an acoustic has intonation problems from the beginning, it could be tricky to fix (action...
I seriously have always wanted that reissue, sadly my only pretty nice acoustic is my Taylor and I wouldn't trade that. Anything else you're interested in trading for?
edit: grammar
I'm listening to "hide and seek" I think it sounds pretty good. The guitar parts are pretty well played. I think if I had one criticism it would be that not everything sounds completely in tune. I also think I might not pan the rhythm guitar as much later on, or maybe have another rhythm...
I'm listening, I really like the guitar sound...what guitar, how'd you record it?
Yeah, I think you did well getting a smooth sound with the voice, maybe a little thin sounding? maybe not? maybe boost i little highs? maybe not?
I think it sounds pretty good
if you are trying to say that i pirate cubase, i use Cubase SE right now since I don't have 500$ to spend....if that's not what you're implying, i'm not really sure what your post means
So if I'm going to record some drums, and I have some Shure SM 81's, what would that sound like compared to getting a matched pair of MXL 603's? On the Shure web page it has their SDC's under the recording section, but I think I've only seen them used in live applications. But, since things like...
i think i'll call...thanks for the advice
edit: so i called and the girl is having someone call me back, she was extremely nice....but anyways, does anyone know if the fact that I bought it at a GC will affect anything? also I guess I'd have to buy a dongle too which would kinda suck
double...
I think the first thing people will ask you is to tell us more about your computer (RAM, HD, Processor)...
I am running a Pentium M 1.2 Ghz with 512 RAM and a 40gb HD ( I store stuff on an external though because my laptop hard drive has crashed before) and I have a Mobile-Pre into Cubase SE...
where do you get them?
edit: found them at fullcompass for 127....where do you get them for 90?
oh and still let me know if you are selling the others i mentioned
Does anyone know when SE3 (or i guess SX3 or SL3 too) came out? I use SE that I bought right after christmas at GC, and I was looking at the Steinberg site and saw SE3 was out. I guess it isn't really a big deal, but I figure I could go ask for the newer version if it was out when I bought SE...
vocals recorded with hamburg here: http://people.clemson.edu/~stoeber/portfolio/songs/songs.html
other equipment isn't great, so take that into consideration
M-Audio Mobile pre USB into Cubase SE with some reverb, compression, delay
I think I'd probably go with the used Peavey...I'm not really a Peavey fan, but at that low of a price I think that will be the best working, best sounding option
sorry, there's no way you can know that this guy is a pirate....if you really are trying to help him and are oh so much more knowledgeable than me as you said, then help him fix the problem......
if you think he might be a pirate, just don't post and turn a thread into a useless pirating war...
