Actually bunny, I think you may be the one paying top dollar. The Fielo mic's are rebranded under more than a dozen other names (SE Electronics, Pacific Pro Audio, etc.) and sell for much cheaper than "J&T" is selling them for. This is nothing new.

The issues are obviously related though if the only way they inform purchasers about their loose deadlines is to bury some mention if it deep within a mind-boggling website. If that's the case, I'd argue that the purchaser hasn't really been informed about the policy at all.

Personally, I'm currently trying to decide between these: http://www.egglestonworks.com/ivy.htm and these: http://www.discountcomputerparts.net/product=C375-CA5 as my main monitor pair. They sound quite similar to me. The Cyber Acoustics model may have a bit more bottom end though.
