see if you can plug into a late 1960ies Fender Deluxe Reverb - you might find you quest stops just there ... from clean to bluesey to very ballsy rock ... vol at 9+ is pure AC/DC but in a very rich way!

agreed ... if I pump 22w of tubepower through a single 12" I can *hardly* keep up with the drummer boy ... If I plug the Deluxe Reverb into my 1972 Marshall halfstack ... I win :D :cool:

depends on the music you play ... if its a jazz drummer o blues-guy - you might get away with a 10" ... again - just a guitar and a drummer is way different to a whole band setting, as bass eats up a lot of "sonic space" as well if your'e more into (harder) rock - the mere plates (more than...

I had one for a short period of time ... the best way to describe a mustang ... "its a children's guitar" ... seriously ... its about 20bucks worth of cheapish materials put together, has abouts 3mm of paint on it that kills any tone (y called mine M&M :D ) is very small, has unhandy...

go Gretsch ... in "gretsch-world" the 70ies are the most hated decade ... and you can pick up some BST1000/1500/2000/5000 models for 300something bucks (just because they aint "gretschy") ... and most of them play the living daylight out of 90% of the big name guitars!!!... trust me on that...

my workaround.... I buy old guitars ... If the neck hasnt warped in 30+yrs ... chances are it will not warp in the next couple of years ... cheers alfred

Hi there, whats the best way to store (medium term - say 3-6 months -) an acoustic? - hardcase - tune down a note? (or leave it in tune?) whats the best way to avoid "issues" in the long run like the top bowing or the bridge lifting? thx and cheers alfred
