oh noooooooo! my akai dps16 with efx is now not slated to arrive untill august...the salesman was trying to turn me on to the korg instead at a great price, but after downloading the dps16 owners manual from their site...i just gotta wait for the akai. it's too cool..i actually could UNDERSTAND...

okay okay okay...still no akai dsp 16..they're "looking in to it".. i'm looking at cd burners...most stand alone "audio" looking type units have digital coax inputs which i imagine would suit me well for recording the audio...BUT...do i need the SCSI input in order to "back up" my digital...

i feel like i did a good amount of research as well...the only negatives i read were on the vs planet board and they were that the akai has inferior effects and poor product support/company service...but i figure it was just sour grapes because the akai obviously KICKS ROLAND'S BUTT!... :)...

well..i went and did it...ordered the akai last night...i think i got a great deal...i looked all over the internet...highest price was 2499, and i got mine new with the efx card for 1849. saw a lot for 1999. the bummer is i paid for overnight delivery only to find out they are back ordered...
