Why not get the Behringer Ultra-G direct box? It has a usable 4x12 cab sim that can be switched on or off.

You can adjust the gate to eliminate the keyboard sounds while you are not talking. But once you start talking into the mic the gate will open and you will hear the keyboard.

When you hit the "post quick reply" button there are little icons at the top that let you insert pictures and videos. That is a sweet looking guitar. Does it have a set or bolt on neck?

What I meant to say is that you would run the clean track through a clean/cleanish amp sim. Then blend them to taste. Layering guitar tracks is common practice.

Good deal! Some of those old Japanese guitars are very cool.

It could be that you just need to re-bias the power tubes [or you need new ones]. They can drift over time as the tubes ages. That can cause the oscillation that you are hearing.
