Re: why not? wiz...... often times, those 12 inch singles were mastered seperately. It is not uncommon for compiliation albums to be a bunch of mixes of songs that are then all mastered by one guy to get them to fit together. this is also how a lot of soundtracks are done. so yes, the singles...
