    The Smugglers of Falmouth

Everything seemed fine to me. I assume the drum is supposed to be less pronounced with this style of music.

    Critizism and comments wanted

It seems fine panning wise. I don't hear a lot of bass coming out of my sub from the bass guitar. The kick seems to be driving it though, not the bass too much. The singing reminds me of rock opera stuff like from that Forgetting Sarah Marshall movie.

    Closing Time (Original)

This is a cool tune. Not the stuff I usually listen too but I can appreciate it and the lyrics are damn good. I liked the chainsaw on isle five, funny stuff. Everything sounded as it should here to me at least. That was a great sample in the beginning by the way. Definitely better than anything...

Free Line 6 Patches and Some Questions

You can hear a couple of the patches in the demo tune above. The POD 2.0 doesn't have the same models but you could probably give it a shot with some of the hi gain stuff from it.

Free Line 6 Patches and Some Questions

They are patches for the XT and above. Not the older POD or 2.0. So they work with any of the line 6 gear that works with the POD Farm plug in on the computer. I'm still working on stuff, and will probably end up giving them out free because I like helping people out in the sense that somebody...

Free Line 6 Patches and Some Questions

I'm still working on my site http://www.joshpollard.com Eventually you could go through that, just PM me via the message boards here. Pretty much let me know if you want midi tracks or fully mixed drums on 1 wav file or split stereo tracks. On a total per mic mixdown with no mixing done by me.

Free Line 6 Patches and Some Questions

I hear that. It's great being able to play all the instruments I need. I just figure some people want more realistic non programmed sounding drums. And I figure I enjoy it so I could do it fairly cheap for people. Like in the under 10 dollars range. I'm not looking to get rich of anything lol.

Free Line 6 Patches and Some Questions

I have a lot of what I consider good sounding patches for the Line 6 POD and all other hardware they work with. I'm thinking of making some pretty big preset banks for different styles and what not. Metal/rock is really my thing but I can usually achieve some good sounds. I was going to do this...

New Metal/Hard Rock Tune Superior 2.0 and POD Farm

Thanks idol. I'm probably going to move on to another song but I think this song will be revisited down the road. It's me doing everything. I've finally decided to give a try to release an album by myself doing everything. The past couple years I always ended up working on projects with other...

New Metal/Hard Rock Tune Superior 2.0 and POD Farm

I think I could probably adjust the dampness of the reverb to warm it up a bit. I was also thinking of upping the compression a bit on the vocals and also boosting some of the low end to thicken them up. I tried staying safe with the vocals because I'm writing in a new tuning and also haven't...

New Metal/Hard Rock Tune Superior 2.0 and POD Farm

So Numb MP3 Link on Soundclick Above is the link to the song. It is called "So Numb". The drums are Superior 2.0 and I played my Roland TD-20 TDW-20 kit midi into the computer. The guitars and bass are POD farm. I've been trying other modelers but keep coming back to Line 6 in the end. I...

80s Hair Metal Jam (Dokken, Hardline, ect.)

Thats a cool sounding 80's style going there. As others have said, it sort of reminds me more of a van halen style song. You have to go much much cheasier to get to the levels of Poison or Mr. Big. Good recording though.

    Out Of My Life

Sounds interesting. The mixed vocals are somewhat tripped out sounding at points because they seem to overlap. I'm really not sure what else to say.

"Consumption" -- out of the box

Sounds damn good overall. The vocals are hard to understand at the beginning because of the distortion but that is fine. A bunch of music has singers parts that are hard to understand.

Budget EP, How can I improve this mix?

I think the drums sound fine here. The kick drum may be a bit to thuddy for this style though. Are you using a high pass anywhere on the kick drum track?

    New DrStawl Tune

Reminds me of the game Strider. There was some odd music in that game.
