I was referring to the vox.....the guitar is good too but you sure sound like Clapton to me.

well I would say the guitar is High Fi and that the bass is lo fi...... The lyrics currently are written as a male and female duet and our trio just split so I don't think I'll be adding vox anytime soon....such is life....ya know? Thanks for checking it out man....

Holy shit! Ido sounds like Clapton! Nice recording and great performances from everyone....If I had to nit pick it would be on the bass.....seems a little low in the mix...everything ekse is awesome....very cool.

I would back off the snare and boost the kick and the bass and add some definition to the bass (mid boost perhaps)....I would also add verb to the guitar and fiddle....and the vox too...seems real dry overall...guitar is a bit lo-fi too. I would do a high cut and a mid and low boost...unless...

That was super cool........I like the trem system too but, it costs more than my Squire Strat did.

Thanks for checking it out man....I re-mixed with your suggested curve and this is what I got...... The bass is clearer now....so much so that I can hear the sloppiness of my playing in finger noise.... Thanks again man.

I haven't recorded any of my music in a long time....and this is the first one with my new Breedlove.... it aint' much either.....but, it's what I got these days.... Breedlove is through a Shure KSM9 into a Mackie Pre into a Delta 10/10 with a Lucid superclock slave into Audition 3 The bass...

sort of sounds like you recorded both the vox and guitar at the same time.... If so,...try laying down the guitar first and adding vox after...this will give you better control over each individual track without any phase issues....isolation is key... For this mix, the guitar seems low level...

I don't know that much about composition David but, I know what I like and I liked this piece very much. I'll look forward to hearing the other three pieces once you have them down. too cool man....:cool:

Great song and performance and excellent tracking skills.... I liked the mix overall except when I put it in my DAW I thought it sounded better with an overall bass compression and a slight mid and low EQ cut and a significant high boost..... very cool...kudos....:cool:

I liked the synth soundfonts...but, they seem to hot level wise in the mix... vox seems low in the mix....so does the guitar....thebass line is totally buried...the only time I can actually hear it is on the intro... Guitar tone is tinny......a low and mid boost might help....it also sounds like...

Vox seems low in the mix to me....it should have the right of way and be center of attention... I agree that the lyrics are interesting and creative....very cool songwriting man... the other fellas covered the mix... needs a bass line man.... Good job.
