I'd hoped to do the contest without seeing the submission names, but two of the files so far aren't mp3s, and I can't open them, so I guess that's out. I"ll look up the names once I've done some reviewing, or if you know yours isn't an mp3 you may as well go ahead and repost it somewhere.

I know what you're getting at caryindy. The first public mix thing I did I bagged the streo acoustic tracks in favour of one down the pipe. I think the objective is to be able to compare apples to apples though. We probably don't want that ugly spectre "grey area" creeping into this and...

I agree on a slightly seperate note. I think it should be about the mixing to keep things straight forward and the playing field level.

I don't know how I would change the criteria. I'm willing to go with what the good folks that know more about this stuff have laid down already :) If anyone else wants to mix it up I'm game though.
