I like the overall balance a lot, vocals cut through too. Not a lot of energy in the drums, but that may be a trade-off with some other things. Mix leans a bit to the bassy, warm side.

This sounds pretty good. I was playing with the lower volume guitar thing at first, this is making me rethink my current approach. Really brings tha bass out. Flip side of that is that the mix sounds too "down the pipe". Guitars are pretty dark.

Bottom end sounds too big and mumphy. It's hard to say how the mix would sound with more clarity.

listening on cans, where are the drums?... seriously, the tracks sound good, but the mix could be balanced out somewhat. BIG guitars and vox.

I was pinning coffee trays to the cieling for a while. It does change the sound in the room AFAICT, it sounded worse than it did before, which isn't easy since they were covering drywall. Most of them are down now.

You lie! lol, just kidding. I think you've found your calling. I can't crank it up, it's early here, but it sounds great. Left guitar seemed a little louder than the right (intensional?). Vocals may have got a bit hot once or twice, I'd have to listen to it turned up to tell for sure.

What's a T-Rack?

A lot of the mixes I'm hearing so far sound pretty good (and probably are way better than mine), but I"m really hearing a lot of big ass bottom end, in some cases really tight, but still dark. Maybe it's my monitoring chain.

no wonder I always come in next to last. My solution was to take a chunk out of the high end, then add 20:1 compression with a reaosnably high threshhold, on top of mixing the whole track kind of low.

BurnBarfield ya, it's a bit thick down low and could use some air. The bass and guitars together have a really cool creepy overcompressed effect going on, sort of early Rush, that really smokes, but the combined bottom end is eating the mix.
