I have just bought the yorkville passive ysm1i's. I have a realistic amplifier. It's an old 70's stereo amp. On the back it says use only 8-16 ohms and for four ohms to see the manual. My speakers are 6 ohms. Any suggestions?

v-amp You've sorted things out brilliantly. I would not get a bass v-amp because the regular v-amp works just fine.

v-amp I think you misunderstood. It's a Behringer V-amp. (the guitar version). I'm using it for bass as well.
