did you eq this and add way to much treble?sonds alittle like that..but i dunno, as said above mic closer (it doesnt sound like you mic'ed seperately to me, or you mic'ed the guitar and bass and vocals, then drums...idunno, you cant really fix it to sound like a crisp professional recording-if...

i think it sounds good...the vocals are alittle off at times..but he'll improve over time...its not like he really needs lessons or anything... but you want to know about the mix!...it all sounds good to me, though my moniters are long past their youth...theres alot of echo with the snare, and...

1. audacity is i realy good open source program-got it on an ubuntu linux cd...-but yeah thats the best youve got for free...i think you might be able to download plugins(ya know, for effects and things)...which can be free and still decent. 2. your mics arent so bad-and you dont always have...
