Thank you for your worthwhile and informative post! I dont own a ruler so i'm just going to make a guess! I read someone else replaced their heit tuners with the gotoh ones, so i think i'll try those. Im not sure what the difference between the left and right ones are though. Hope it works out...

So i just found a beautiful 1967-1970 made in japan heit deluxe guitar. It sounds amazing and strong, but the tuners are all pretty loose and a tuning peg is missing. This is the guitar does anyone know what replacement tuners i can put on that will fit? Heelp!
