I usually don't have too much trouble with the verses and chorus. The bridge seems to be where I usually get stuck. Or maybe just run out of words, I'm more of a music person than a word person

Perhaps I should clarify. I'm talking about after it has been saved and re-opened another day, I can't "undo" it. I can't figure out how to delete the envelope after it has been saved, closed, and re-opened.

Using Sonar X1, is there a way of undoing the track automation once it's been used? I'm afraid to use it sometimes, because once I do, I can't undo it if I change my mind. Seems like there should be a way. But I can't find it. Pat

Yeah it"s funny, When I used my condenser mic with the Presonus, I had to turn the gain all the way down, and the mic was still hot. I couldn't get very close to it without it clipping. With the Focusrite. I have my gain at about 30% and I can get much closer giving me a fuller tone. Huge...

Got the 18i8 this weekend and it sounds sweet. Much better pre amps than the Presonus.

Maybe it was supposed to have software, I bought it used. Anyway, it doesn't matter now, I just purchased a mint used one on ebay for 275. I think it's the one I want. I will let you know how it works. Thanks for the advise. Pat

I'm just running a line to my amp and cranking it up when I'm recording. Seems like the tube amp effects my guitar that way. I know it sounds funny but it seems to play better. Yup, I'm a guitar player lol
