hey thanks for replying, yeah I can tweak the hi-hats easily in fruityloops. the thing about my setup is that I'm right now changing it (waiting on a pre amp at the moment) so will re-record stuff when that comes in. I do all my mixing and everything in cool edit though. I'll be recording again...
