I've just got two cheap dynamic mics. :o I can't get a job till the summer, but the first thing I'm gona buy once I get some money is two quality mics.

yeah, I agree. I actualy think the drums sound fine, but the vocals are a little light. Good song, good mix, as far as my ears can tell

Lol but I bet your recordings sound a hell of alot better than mine. I've had maybe 2 high-quality recordings in my 100-some songs I've recorded. I've gotta get lucky lol. I'd rather know what everything does and work hard at it, believe me.

Can anyone direct me to a good post or website about frequency editing? I really have no clue what it is. I use the graphic equalizer sometimes, which I think feels with frequency, but I'm completely in the dark about this, and think that if i used it right, it could make things sound alot better.

Well I use Adobe Audition 2.0 and it saves all the session files as gigantic .wav files, so one session sometimes takes up as much as 1 Gig on my PC. Usualy I save the final copy, ask friends and family how it sounds, and make sure i'm happy, then close it. So I don't have the files still. I...

I really like the song. I think the bass is a little too loud, and the rhythm guitar and vocals could be up a little. This is a great blues song though. The recording sounds good to me, but I dont really know a whole lot about recording so take it w/ a grain of salt.

What's wrong with plugging my mixer into my Microphone Jack? Whenever I plug it into the Line-in it's always WAYYYY to soft.

Should I do the Compressing after I've mixed everything down into one track? Or for each track
