where I work we have two monitors - one from the computer which is used for final editing and then a monitor from an hd3 board which is mostly used for tweaking pre recording and playback.

I simply answered to the thread....no one had to say anything..or "diss" the way I felt. I didnt cast stones at anyone nor abet any kind of argument. So the whole dragon cave thing....not my fault.

You make me sound like such a tool....I never said I was experienced at anything, ever. I would never say that, ever. Explain to me how I am a walking contradiction - I very well could be and that is something that needs to be taken into my consideration.

Your not an idiot...you know exactly what I said... and the questions were so much more ambiguous than that ONE answer I said to not bother posting.

After viewing the video, my conclusion is - Playing that fast does seem a bit unnesessary...but it is bad ass. I have a lot of respect for anyone with that much control.

I dont think a song calls for anything...you can take it a million different directions and each one can be better or worse than the other.

it a simple question really... Do you like an album in which the drums remain the same throughout each song, or do you prefer to have the sounds of the drums vary throughout the album? and with that - there is room for expansion and explanation. Dont call me a dumb ass... that is ridiculous

I go with DW and Gretsch. I like to be that guy who shows up at a little venue with a 3 thousand dollar three piece kit - the one who has nicer drums than you. It's all about sound of course and I think no one will disagree when I say DW and Gretsch makes nice sounding drums if they are tuned...

The same sounding drums throughout - every track has the same EQs same snare, kick ect. or Different drums throughout. or same shitty snare sound every second and forth beat of every second of everysong...lars ulrich Reason being...im looking to start recording a few songs for a little...
