has any one here ever used low density areofoam as a difuser/absorber? in the construction industry we use this foam to fill spaces under concrete grade beams etc, and it comes in a variety of sizes. this material could be cut in half so that it has a perimidal shape. any ideas

as far as i know the truth monitors are copies of the mackies. at long&mcquade here in canada , they have them side by side with an a/b box. they sound identical to me. and the truths are half the price.
