so every track you can send seperate by choosing your output as lets say a mic one thats vocals or i don't know what you recorded, so mic one goes to output 1/2 but by panning it left, it will only go out on channel 1

and i bought some electret capsules and i was planning on making a microphone design and do all the electronics, knowing it is sealed it would be an omni mic, that i am pretty sure.

canare cables are smooth to the touch and easier to use as they don't make knots as fast as mogami cabling

So i know what are the differences between the 828 and the 828mk2, but not between the 896 and the 896hd.
All i know is that the hd version handles 192khz and the 896 does not.
But that is not a problem for me since i was looking at the 828mk2 wich only supports 96khz, and wich is far enough...

I was wondering what was the difference between TRS and TS, while I know TRS is balanced and TS unbalanced, I was wondering wich was best, or if both will give the same result.
I have a soundcraft mixer, not that is actually important with my question though i thought i would add this info...
thats what i do,
I use one row of the patch bay for the sends and another for the insert returns.
My mixer is a soundcraft and even though the inserts aren't in the back, i use the patch bay because its way more convenient for patching, and inserting effects and/or to rout all my signals.

for the 300$us i guess the mk2 is well worth having instead of the first version of the 828.
Its actually quite pricy, but i guess its worth every penny!
