Good lead vox don't diss yourself :) I'd have them louder and more compressed, is all..... A song like this, it's one of those probably impossible to actually interpret. It's beyond that. It's all you can do to make a good performance quite close to the original. Good job. Having said that...

Sounds great!, nothing wrong with a round kick sound, but maybe it's a little bit too much..... very commercial sound, the whole production and performance is. Sounds like Coldplay or something :) well done!

Kewl tune!, I'd have the organ more prominent. I love organ and you have some nice licks there. I liked the drum sounds on the first mix better though, it could be because i keep thinking deep purple. Harmony vox on the chorus work really well and maybe there's even more to squeeze out there...

Thanks guys! :) The only thing I toned down the lower end on was the vox. I do have brand new pickups on the guitar (Bareknuckle! :)) and it does have more body than i'm used to. Did do a couple more drum takes to smooth out that fill that didn't flow!, I had five sections. Thanks again! Markus

tim, dogman, thanks friends! :) i was hoping to score a "proper" reggae this time.....it's got some classic reggae elements in it....you can smell the marijuana :D less original than the original version, but hitting harder....i love reggae, the whole culture around it kinda makes me laugh...
