I'm using the WDM drivers with sonar. I haven't noticed any pops or clicks with the 828. Do you have a 7200 rpm Hard drive? I get a lot of dropouts on my laptop because the hard drive is too slow.

I'm using one with my PC Desktop and occasionally my laptop. I have been using it with SONAR and it works great. Very low latency etc.

the mp3 player that used to come with napster was even better. Made even crappy mp3s sound great. I think you can still download it from napster.

I think that Aren is right, this is what I was saying above. Just export the wav file into a program that gives you more multitracking options or burn it to CD and play it directly into your mixer while recording vox.
