    Spider-Man

Very cool, very catchy. I agree with the others (drums), and I would suggest panning the fuzz guitar a little more to the right, or somehow finding some room for it with eq. The bass could be more distinct, maybe rolling off a bit of the low end would help? Very cool song, great vocals and...

    Don't Worry

I like the vocals, they grew on me. Reminds me a bit of Kate Bush. I think you could extend it quite a bit. I wanted it to build more. Maybe add tambourine, and a distant recorder or bagpipe patch. It's too short to build up the tension that it could. Very nice, lots of good stuff.

    let 'em sink

Cool song, me likey. My suggestions: 1. Narrow the drums a bit, they take over the stereo field. It will make other parts come out easier. 2. Too much reverb or room on the lead voice. It's a bit muddy. Love the guitar work, and the song.

    New Song

Good song, nice mix. My only suggestion would be to boost the vocal by 2 db. It will make the vocals a tad easier to understand. Other than that, it's a very polished mix. Well done.

And it works!! It does exactly what they claim, those that prefer mixing with faders will have them. In Sonar, a purple line will show up in console view, below the 6 onscreen faders that it can work with. The line can be moved in real time. The tracks have to be together, so one can't pick 1...

They work with Sonar. One has to set their software to "Mackie Control", which is somewhat universal. I don't know if Cubase has this option or not. With Sonar, 6 faders work, plus the master fader. The transport works, as well as solo tracks. The rewind/fast forward moves the fader groups up...

Correct, the Boss can act like any 2 output interface. You choose either guitar or mic on the Boss, then choose left, right or stereo on the DAW track. One can turn the effects on or off easily, so you can record dry or with Boss effects. When effects are on, there is a green light on the...

    The Official BOSS BR-800 Thread

I just checked my BR, and each track has it's own eq ( I never use it so I didn't know that). That's good. So, on page one you select the track you want, and on page 2 you adjust frquencies.

To get to the EQ, press "track" and then you'll see it. The first page of the menu is a simple off/on for each track. Press enter to get to the second page. Your choices on the second page are low, mid, hi gain, and lo/mid/ hi frequency: Gain basically means "increase" (or decrease), so you can...

    BMI/ASCAP songwriting vs 'publishing'

ASCAP and BMI use statistical sampling to determine payouts. It's notoriously skewed and unfair, but it is what it is. It's particularly bad for radio, when today's technology can pretty much pinpoint exactly what was played and when, but they don't want to adapt to it as people on the board...

Save your money up and buy a vowel. Another "o" in "to" would be a good investment.:thumbs up:

    Unlikelyman (A Kitchen-Sink'd Story-Song)

What I'm trying to say: I don't think it's working as well as you think.:D It's probably a harder effect to pull off than either you or I are aware of, it's like Hollywood foley work. How to get that sound= I dunno. You might experiment with the exact opposite of what I said and take some dry...

    Unlikelyman (A Kitchen-Sink'd Story-Song)

I can understand them fine. To me, it comes off as a "standing in the kitchen with a mic" kind of sound. If I'm not mistaken, the kind of sound you're after is the "One Night in Bangkok" sound. Any imitation of radio, old tape recording, phone etc will work better dry. 2. Overall, I suggest...

    All Time Best Song Ever...

I think I like the old version too, for reasons already stated. Cool track. Two musical suggestions (if you find the original tracks): 1. Ditch the winds at 2:30 etc. Up until then, it sounds like an old ELO overture or Funeral for a Friend epic stuff. When the winds come in, the illusion is...

    Unlikelyman (A Kitchen-Sink'd Story-Song)

Cool track, it's humorous but a good production too. Two suggestions: 1. Make the vocals drier if possible. They have to be crystal clear to pull this off. 2. The bass is a bit boomy on my headphones, especially where it's not needed (like the beginning). If you could get rid of some of the...

    1st New Track for 2013

Sound good Ray. The bass fits better in the most recent version, I can pick it out very clearly.

First song with my new amp.

Agreed. Sounds great Rami, everything is really tight and the amp sound fits right in.
