    cheers for the reply pdp, but in this genre, i thought it was best to have hard driven guitars more centre of the mix to give it the more rock/band feel, cause it could easily be considered more pop which isnt my intention i wanted to keep pop sensibilities but blend it with 60 percent rock! =)...

    im running my mackie onyx into cubase 5 , when i plug my guitar into hi-z i get audio through the speakers but its not running into cubase, even when i use the template of electric guitar and vocals it says plug guitar into channel 1 HI-Z but still nothing, can any one help????
