Can't find these guitars on eBay

Wow, here is a blast from the past Gerry-a picture of me playing that Ibanez back in about 1976. I must have been one of the first guys that removed the pickguard.......I won't even comment on the clothing back then!:o

Can't find these guitars on eBay

Was your Ibanez a bolt-on neck as well? Most of the Ibanez L. P. style I've found are bolt-on types on Ebay..

Can't find these guitars on eBay

Hey Gerry, was that Kramer from the locking whammy era in the 80's? It just might be that people are not selling them and are holding on to them. I had one of those Ibanez Les Pauls too, I think mine was a '74 model-it had the bolt-on neck though...I went looking for one several years ago and...

    Hey Anfontan!

It's the one I'm planning to use-it's not just a beautiful guitar, it's also a great player as well-it's on the 'Cold Day in Hell' solo, too. I borrowed a video camera from a friend and hope to find a good location soon as well.

    Question about Martin DX1...

If I recall correctly, the DX Martins are constructed with a wood top but the rest of it is like a formica plastic. I tried one years ago and hated the feel and the tone-I moved up to the D-16 and got the solid wood without the fancy inlay.

    Hey Anfontan!

Watch out for the Attack Poodle-he will try to shred your shoestrings! Just kidding!! Believe it or not, the Splattercaster and it's molded case was given to me by a co-worker who had health issues and had to switch to a nylon string guitar. It has a pickguard with the same splatter...

    Hey Anfontan!

It was posted on craig's list locally and the guitar's top was so fine I had to check it out-it turned out that a past band mate owned it and had his son post it. He had bought it to try and decided the Fender Tele he had was all he needed. I wired my 4 way to get these selections-Neck, neck &...

    Hey Anfontan!

Lord have Mercy-that was sweeeet! No matter what style you are playing, those things sure sound great. I think you are making a wise choice, Paul. Is the BareKnuckle company from the UK or Australian? His partscaster is the opposite of my Frankenstrat, he has a Tele body with a Strat neck...

power pop - "Where i want to go"

Nice song and songwriting Gonzo, the guitars are very tight sounding and keep the song smoking along! The lead tone is great-some of it had a 'Steve Morse' sound and attitude happening-I like it a lot.....

    New Song - Loser

When the song first started out the bass line seemed a bit over-compressed, after the drums and dynamics kicked in though I didn't notice it really. The soloing has a 60's vibe-kinda like Big Brother with Janis Joplin-a little overly busy sounding. Maybe economize on the lead lines-don't play...

    Your favorite chord(s)

Yeah, that's true as well. Bet it's 60's guy's favorite for just that reason............

    loser - remix

It's a good tune heatmiser, the solo has a cool Neil Young vibe to my ears!;) Oops--I missed the new mix, it's sure got a bit more drive and more high end than the first mix and you definitely have a much better voice than Cohen by the way.

    Your favorite chord(s)

I would have to say a G major-I can always tell if the guitar is properly in tune when I strum it. Probably not really a favorite but the most useful...

    I love solid state.........again.

I usually use a tube amp for gigs, but I recently got a Roland Cube 30 and it's my #1 home practice amp now. It has some nice preset amp sounds-Fender Twin & Tweed, Marshall, and the great clean Jazz Chorus:cool:-but I seem to stay with the Vox AC30 most of the time. I love the Vox presets...

What do you think of my music

Your soulful voice is shining through but the noise and instrumentation is sure holding it back. Are the backing tracks a midi instrument of some kind? You should try to colab with some other members and get some killer tracks for you to sing to.

    Firewind (Featuring Joe Mizzi)

I bet you just hid the scotch in the New Rep Thread Joey-it's just like a big empty storehouse now-nothing happening down there at all these days!!

    Firewind (Featuring Joe Mizzi)

The song sure kicks some ass! The rhythm guitar is a few db's too loud and in your face to me. A bit of reverb to drop it back into the mix and lower sound level would even it out in my opinion. Joe sounds fine as usual, I'm amazed at how high he pushes that ending vocal--Yow!!! Good colab, guys.
