What tempo are these tracks at....

Ah-hah, if I set it to fixed, it makes the waveforms shorter. I can also change the tempo speed. Thanks very much :)

What tempo are these tracks at....

Timewarp is confusing the fuck out of me. I recently made some midi tracks at 140 bpm, and bounced them to audio. I created a new project, totally forgetting about tempo and went on working with automation and shit. Sounded all great. Then I looked at the metronome settings and saw the metronome...

    Weirdy EQ sweeps...

I've just made the switch from Adobe Audition to Cubase SX3, ready to take the recording and mixing thing a bit more seriously. I am curious however, as to if there is a plugin I can use to get a sweepy EQ effect. There was one in Adobe Audition, I forget the name, but I loved it. I used it for...

I know it's not nice to poke fun but...

I don't think our band was THAT bad in our first video we filmed of ourselves. Not far off though. So long as they are having fun (Y) The bassist needs to be in time though - that just frustrated me. Then again - hard to be in time with a drummer like that :)

Packaging options other than jewel cases?

From the contact us page: http://kunaki.com/ContactUs.htm My question now is - I know nothing about bar codes - now apparently Kunaki stick a barcode on your product so you can sell it on places such as Amazon... Will the barcode work in the UK? Is it a similar format to the US. I haven't a clue.

    Cardigans Style Bass

Is that a Boss pedal? I'll have a look around on the Internet for it. Thanks for the help.

    Cardigans Style Bass

I am looking at recreating that really low fuzzy sound as heard in a lot of the Cardigans songs. I looked at overdrive pedals but they all seemed to harsh for what I wanted. Should I be looking at some processing following the overdrive to maybe compress it into that lo-fi fuzz sound. I am...

Packaging options other than jewel cases?

Wow - that Kunaki place sounds amazing. I wish they were based in the UK. Anyone know if they ship? I might drop them a mail if no one knows. EDIT Scratch that - they ship overseas.

    Idiots Question

I have searched these forums, searched Google, and referred to the Cubase manual, but I still can't loop in Cubase SX. I can make a midi section, say for a verse, and I then want to loop say a 4 bar sequence or whatever. i can use the cycle tool. But thats not how I want to do it. With...

I'm considering getting a micro korg...

So the MK has a learning curve for programming then? Or is just more long winded? Or generally not as good as the MS2000B?

I don't know where to put this...

Take the idea to Sitepoint.com and hold a contest (contest forum). Someone will design you something UBER sexy.

I'm considering getting a micro korg...

Eeeep... Ok - yeah I just saw you can use a powerpack. Eeep... I guess it would be a design flaw without it. On a different note then (to give this topic some kind of purpose) - is it value for money? Any good/bad experiences? Interested to get some feedback from those who have used one. I...

Old school game boy into intstrument

So it would go... Korg, Gameboy, Drums -> 3 seperate mixer channels -> amp/PA? Something like that?

Old school game boy into intstrument

In theory, could you have a Game Boy, Micro Korg, and some kind of drum machine all running into an amp? Would you run the GameBoy into the Korg? Or would you have to have like - a small mixer, and run drum machine, Korg and gameboy into that?

I'm considering getting a micro korg...

But one thing is putting me off - apparently it only runs on batteries? Is there no output for mains? Are they worth the cash? I play in a rock band, and would maybe use it to incorporate in recordings, and maybe live too. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
