i think the thing that i'm finding with these is that they're not really offering anything. by using the same vocal track you're limiting the ability to branch off and be creative with the song. are you playing with a midi controller or programming in all the keys? you should try re-recording...

meh. it just sounds like you took the vocals from the song and put them on a casio version of the music. sorry, i didn't care for it much.

my friend has the same situation in his basement. he ripped the window out and poured concrete in to seal it up.

i did change some things a bit. i pulled the strings back a hair, changed the drums so they don't have a crackle, and i actually did pull the 16ths off the hh for the beginning to clean it up a bit. and also took out the drum lead-in per suggestion. i also did some overall eq adjustments. thanks...

it will do something. whether it will be a night and day difference, i'm not sure. personally i'm holding off until i can get 703 or knauf. i don't want to waste any money on cutting corners and end up regretting it later. it seems like you're picking the first two options on your signature. =)

secure them more tightly? i think there's insulation you can get for ducts too. wrap that around them maybe also.

I've basically been planning on using 4" of rigid fiberglass from floor to ceiling in the corners, which seems to be the most practiced, but i've found some stuff about cylindrical bass traps. Does anyone know if there are any pros and cons to making some like these...
