Hi all, If anyone has a spare moment could you evaluate my band? i.e. if you were a stranger to the band (which you probably are anyway!) what are your impressions? are the songs good? what's the image like? likely to become successful? how/what to improve - marketing? song quality...

Hmm I might consider the i5 I've read mixed reviews - some say incomparable to the 57 as they're both different so I dont know... On a (slightly) separate note - what mic on the acoustic (and vocals) for this recording?

How do you achieve such a range? He's forty something, does everyone has the capacity to sing like this and it's down to practice/technique?

Would anyone rate Sony MDR 7506s for headphones? I'm probably recording in mono so may not need as extensive drum set up as you think...I mainly want to capture the snare, bass aswell if possible

Very true, I suppose it is the 'feel' that I'm after. In which case, < this should be achievable on an 8 track but then there's only me and a drummer - so it would be recording bass and drums, then guitar, then lead guitar, then vocals...
