No, I asked to compare US-1800 with Audient ASP880 if you go back and do research.

I am recording with Tascam us-1800 with pretty decent condenser mics, and wondering just how good the Tascam is... Is it good enough for creating red book CDs? The pre seems clean enough, although not warm like tubes... What do you all experts think about this one? Thanks in advance !

How about when I am trying to capture the reverb by facing the opposite way into the hall? Which mic for that purpose? Can I use an omnis, or cardiods? How about a large diaphragm condenser? Thank you in advance !

I want to capture the reverb of the hall to add to the far and the spot mics capture, so I don't have to use artificial reverb (which I don't like).

I want to capture the sound of the hall by pointing a mic towards the audience (opposite the source), and wondering what kind of mic I should use to do that? A small diaphragm condenser cardiod? How about an omni on the same mic? Would large diaphragm not work? Please enlighten...

Can I use omni small diaphragm condenser mics for XY stereo far away pointing? I am trying to double mic cello - one close and one far to give spacial quality. The far ones will be small diaphragm in pair - can I use omni head for this application?

I am using Tal Reverb with Reaper DAW, and wondering if I upgrade to expensive Lexicon one, I would gain in quality significantly. While I am pretty happy with the Tal, it does change the sound if I add a lot of reverb - and I am trying to get away from that - would the Lexicon do that for me...

Why do I need an additional interface like iD22? Asp880 won't work by itself connected to a computer like focusrite 18i20?
