i was wondering if any of you folks have heard if you can link two VS-1680's together. Cause i tried and it works like every once in awhile i usually have to hit return to 0 on both the master and the slave. Did i hook it up wrong or is this what i have to deal with? thanks.

cool fishmed, sounds like you enjoy it, but have you recorded with it thats what id be using it for and have you ever used the Alesis 3630's i .hope the ACP-88 is better than 3630. the 3630 is just rough if you move it the slightest you can hear a major difference always, their real touchy...

has anyone used the acp-88 pre-sonus compressor? if so how is it, ive been looking at it for awhile. but, noone down at guitarsatan(as someone put it) will show me it. Jal :(

i agree with cooperman. it really matters what kind of music your trying to get cause look at "Guided By Voices" they sound great and most of their recordings were done on a mixture of boombox and 4-track cassette. so u mentioned mastering well thats your call if you want it mastered, master it...

i would think that a lil mixer would do that. but im not sure. also, i think anything you would use would cut down the original signal, but i could be wrong. sorry, not much of any help am i.

i have a alesis midiverb, and its a great multi f/x processor but it has very weak reverbs in my opinion, so i bought a processor that didnt have all those presets and things, its more of a "only reverb and delay" unit and it sounds much better. i find that things that have only one purpose...
