I can't really add to what everyone else said. The snare really needs more crack and maybe the distortion on the guitars tightened up a bit more. But in the meantime, I'd buy a copy!

Compression is what you need here. I had the exact same problem. The compressor plug ins usually have a 'vocal' preset, use that as a starting point and go from there untill you have a suitable sound for the track.
Always keep a practice diary so you have a constant progression and you can look back on it to see if there's anything you missed/how far you've came etc.
And yeah, get a metronome!
In fact, it might not be sends but the aux fx... It's straight forward in reason. I just cant quite get it for cubase (SX2)

I dont know if this is the right place so get me told if it isn't but if I were to post a link to a few of my tracks would you guys be able to give me a critique of the mixes (not the music itself)?
