I wanted to make a bluesy sounding song. I'm not sure what happened but it seems more like a rock and roll song with a little bluesy riff going on. Anyway is there anything that needs to be done? I think there's a few snare hits that are off beat... not sure though...

Rendering is literally an art! It's all about how much you compress it and in what format. Make sure your resolution matches the original file size (don't render a 720P file to 1080P, that leaves letter boxing which is wasted space unless desired). I have a 6 minute video that is 720P at 60FPS...

The guitar tone was done from a Line 6 75W amp. I'm surprised I got that with a POS digital amp. One thing is instead of a Shure 57, I'm using a Audix i5 which is similar to the shure but has a slightly different sound. Timing is always a battle for me on guitar so drums might be a nightmare...

Unfortunately they are fake... they're EZ Drummer. That's another thing I'm looking into, how hard would it be for me to completely learn drums good enough to play along with this kind of music?

I'm on vista and when I right click a storage device there's an option "Format". Click it and you have a bunch of options. I don't know if that's what you did or not though.

I have a monster cable, a little patch one. It's broken. I have yet to call them to get my replacement... nothing is physically wrong with the cable too.

I think trial and error is more valuable than a book. You don't get recording experience from reading, but you get recording experience from recording.

Yea looking at those pics you are gonna have a job right there. Building a new structure would be ideal... it's pretty nasty looking currently.

If you take a break for a while, you'll come back anxious as ever to get playing and recording again. I haven't played guitar for a week or 2 because of my wrist but I just started playing and recording again and I'm popping out songs left and right!
