all the rode stuff is pretty good, i haven't tried the NT1000 but i have used the nt1, nt2 and nt3. the nt3 is abit crappy(never used it in favor of a c1000) but the nt 1 and 2 are great for the money,

i recenty got a 4 channel BSS compressor/de-essor from a junk shop for £80. the problem is it has a really low ouput. I'm using un-balanced inserts on my desk, so i've wired the hot pin in and earthed the cold (and the shied). All four channels have exactly the same problem. Can any one shed...

i have a muilt- comp-thing and its abit shit. i only use it when i've run out of decent compressors on a mix. Its not the compressor section thats bad its the make up gain.
