i've just bought a second hand G4- and realised there is no serial port ( that my midi interface was using on my PC). Is the easiest way to put a PCI serial card?-if so which makes are mac compatable? is there any other solution?

when your mixing try filtering the reverb down a bit. if you listern to real reverb it won't be as bright as the source. also filter the bass (80hz ish) to avoid the muddiness. put this reverb on the whole submix of the kit, the compress a submix of the reverb return, and origional drum submix...
